Ambarella

Known as: Largely used for juice making, cocktails, blends, liquors, and ice cream.

Scientific Name: Spondias Lutea

It is original from the Pacific Island. It is present on almost the entire Brazilian territory.

It has a cylindrical shape, measuring 6 to 10cm long, 5 to 9cm of diameter and it may weigh up to 380g.

The peel is thin and smooth and the fruit is bright yellow, very aromatic and juicy, tasting bittersweet and acid when it is ripe. It has soft and irregular spines inside.
