Scientific Name: Annona Squamosa

Original from the Antilles, the tree may reach 5 meters high. Its fruit measures about 7 to 10 centimeters of diameter. It is round and often full of round saliencies. As it gets ripe, these saliencies go from light green to grayish green.

The sweetsop has much vitamin C content and complex B content, important for protein metabolism, carbohydrates for complementing vitamins and minerals.

It is soft, granulated, perfumed and tasty. The pulp makes a delicious mash that can be served with roasts or grilled fish stake. From it, we can also to creamy toppings to go with cakes, pies and ice cream.

The delicious sweetsop pulp is rather consumed raw, which is awesome served cool.
